Decisions etc:

Farm shop, Romsey Road:
The NFNPA had advised that, provided the shop sold only goods produced on the property concerned (and not more than 10% of total sales were produce from elsewhere), planning permission was not required.
Planning application 09/94008 (Scaffolding Yard, The Old Brickyard, Salisbury Road, Ower):
A letter from local residents objecting to this application thanked the Council for considering their representations.
56. NEW FOREST NATIONAL PARK HOUSING LAND AVAILABILITY SURVEY
A letter from the NFNPA referred to an update of the housing land availability assessment carried out in 2008 as part of work on the Local Development Framework. Parishes were asked to bring to the Authority’s attention any potential housing sites likely to become available over the next 15 years. No sites were identified.
57. NEW FOREST ASSOCIATION OF LOCAL COUNCILS
An e-mail from Ringwood Town Council expressed the view that NFALC was not sufficiently proactive and did not adequately represent the interests of constituent town and parish councils. The comments of member bodies were invited.
Agreed that the Council responds by indicating its support for the retention of the Association and any measures to strengthen its representative role.
58. HAMSPHIRE ASSOCIATION OF LOCAL COUNCILS AGM
The AGM of HALC was due to be held on Saturday 10 October 2009 at St Swithun’s School, Winchester. Agreed, that possible Council attendance at the event be discussed at the Planning meeting on 8 September 2009.
