330. GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION PARTNERSHIP
At the last meeting, the Council had agreed to join this new partnership involving an annual payment for two or three years towards development costs. However, Ringwood had subsequently advised that there may be an ongoing financial commitment beyond the development period. Further enquiries had established that any additional payment should only apply if parishes wished to alter or extend the data system. NFDC would otherwise meet the costs of ongoing maintenance. On this basis, it was agreed that the Council would confirm its willingness to join the partnership.

333. COUNTY COUNCILLORS’ DEVOLVED BUDGETS
A note from Councillor Mel Kendal offered to allocate the parish £1000 from his current year’s devolved budget for use as a capital projects fund, either by the Council or by way of donation to local organisations. Members agreed to accept the offer which in principle could be used to fund the Parish Hall’s proposed lighting improvements and the Council’s internet connection at the Hall.
Councillor Stenson queried whether the fund should be used for alternative purposes and it was agreed to review the allocations at the Council meeting on 27 January. A formal bid for the funds had to be submitted by 5 February.
