- a note from NFNPA confirming that the farm shop in Romsey Road was not in breach of planning control in that produce available in the shop was produced on site
- a note from NFNPA confirming that planning consent was in place for use of a former barn as a dwelling off Kewlake Lane
- notice of a NFNPA public meeting on Wednesday 2 September 2009 at Applemore Health and Leisure Centre to discuss the next stages in the production of the National Park Management Plan and Core Strategy
63. NEW FOREST ASSOCIATION OF LOCAL COUNCILS – EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
A letter from Bramshaw Parish Council sought support for the nomination of Mrs Sue Bennison as a North East Quadrant representative on the Executive Committee of NFALC. Agreed, that the Council await the request for formal nominations before making a decision.
64. PARISH COUNCIL WEBSITE
Members considered a report of the Clerk on alternative website providers.
The report summarised discussions held with two companies and showed available services and costs. In the case of TLC Online, the design fee was £400 (one-off), with a monthly maintenance fee of £30 (fixed for two years). This covered maintenance of the site on the Council’s behalf. Alternative website addresses were available (.gov.uk and .org.uk), the latter being cheaper.
Agreed that the Council enter into a two-year contract with TLC, using a .org.uk web address. Discussions to be held with local organisations concerning the use of website space.
65. PARISH HALL INTERNET
Members discussed the process for allowing local groups to have access to the Council’s wireless broadband facilities at the Parish Hall. Agreed that, in the first instance, an article be included in the Stanleys Own magazine (October edition) inviting expressions of interest (Parish Hall Committee to be advised in advance).

New Forest Disability Service:
Presentation arranged for Planning meeting on 8 September 2009
Local policing:
PC Dee Faulkner, the replacement for PC Mike Bemand, hoped to attend the next Council meeting on 22 September 2009.
68. MEMBERS’ REPORTS
Councillor Samways:
Highway matters still outstanding – A-board at The Empress of Blandings, eroded road edges in Barrow Hill Road and uncut hedge in Winsor Road.
Councillor Moriarty:
Gulley cleaning carried out in New Inn Road/Chinham Road but query whether further drainage work to be undertaken.
Dog waste bins – how many in parish? Existing ones identified.
Cllr Milsom also commented on problem of dog waste.
Recent break-ins in Brockishill Road.
