16. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

The applicant for planning application 10/95216 (Castleton, Winsor Road) addressed the meeting.

 

17. PLANNING MATTERS

Current applications:

Members agreed to comment as shown on the following applications:

 

10/95184 Cadenham Farm, Cadnam Lane, Cadnam (Rear two storey extension). Object (4)

 

10/95216 Castleton, Winsor Road, Winsor (First floor side extension (above garage);
single storey rear extension). Support (3)

 

Decisions etc: Members noted recent decisions and applications referred to Committee, as shown in the list tabled at the meeting (Appendix 1 in the minute book).

 

CC Cars, Romsey Road: A note from the National Park Authority advised that there were no restrictions/conditions imposed on the number of vehicles allowed to be displayed at these premises.

 

Land at Copperfield, Pollards Moor Road: A note from the National Park Authority provided an update on this site. The Authority had agreed to refer the owners’ non-compliance with the enforcement notice to the Magistrates Court. In addition, the NFDC were now preparing a further scoping report to ascertain whether the materials remaining on site posed a threat to human health. The NPA had agreed to bear the cost of the report, subject to the fee not exceeding £1500.

 

New Forest National Park Local Development Framework: The Clerk reported receipt of the NPA Core strategy and Development Management Policies document, submitted to the Secretary of State on 27 May 2010. The document would be subject to a Public Inquiry in due course.

 

Review of planning procedures: Agreed, that the Council’s planning procedures be reviewed at the Planning meeting on 10 August 2010.
